Traditions Worship
Welcoming. Joyful. Calming. Uplifting. These are all words Messiah members use to describe their Sunday morning worship experience. Attendees are welcomed into a time of worship that offers opportunities to love God through praise, prayer and scripture.
“I have been at Messiah for 15 years,” says Meg . “I love how it has evolved. I loved it when I first joined and I love it now. Pastor Steve really has a way of relating the Bible to current times—and he’s funny! The messages are so relevant to me compared to my youth in a different church where we recited the same thing every time.”
Meg is a part of the prayer circle that prays with Pastor Steve before the Traditions service, so she most often attends Traditions worship. “There are times when I arrive at church with a lot on my mind; as I sit there and pray and sing and listen to the message, I feel like I am calming down and realigning my path back where it is supposed to be.”
Traditional Christian music is a main feature of this worship style, it will spiritually engage, enlighten, challenge, comfort, and bring worshipers closer to God and Jesus Christ.
The music is performed by the Chancel Choir, the Jubilate Bell Choir, youth and children's choirs, and special guest performers. The use of video, a newly-upgraded sound system, and our beautiful expanded sanctuary enhances the worship experience.
Traditions Worship also provides our pastors' weekly message, opportunities to grow in your faith, and challenges to serve others in our community and around the world. Fellowship after the service provides the chance for us to meet and get to know each other. Please join us this Sunday at 8:45 a.m. for Traditions Worship.
